Waxing Treatments Spa-go uses a gentle, European cream wax made especially for sensitive skin. Hair growth should be approximately 1/4 inch long but no longer than 1/2 inch to receive waxing services. Regrettably waxing services cannot be performed on clients taking acutane, are sunburned or recovering from a recent laser, microdermabrasion or acid peel. Discontinue use of Retin-A, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, including glycolic acid or any other keratolytic medication (increasing skin exfoliation) and tanning beds 3-4 days prior and 3-4 days post waxing appointment.
